Artist Comments
This is a commission of two sisters (Native American descent) who are several years apart in age, yet they find common ground in their heritage. The Native Americans have a way of sharing culture in role playing just as others do. This elder sister is teaching her young sibling how to tie a cradleboard to protect her doll, just as any young mother would. Family bonding occurs as they spend this time together.
